Mozambique: Things To Do.

Now I know what you’re thinking, it’s the same thing everyone is thinking when they travel, ‘Does this place have a waterpark?’ And yes. Mozambique does! It’s just a sad one, so I can’t recommend it. But don’t worry, I have found some decent replacements for you to enjoy.
Swimming With Whale Sharks.
If you don’t know what a Whale Shark is, don’t worry, it’s depicted above. And I know, you hear the word ‘shark’ and immediately assume this is going to be dangerous. But Whale Sharks are completely harmless to people. They couldn’t eat you even if they wanted to because their throats are too small, plus they’re just naturally gentle giants. So as long as you know how to scuba dive, and you aren’t scared of the ocean this could be a great option for you! It’s definitely something that should be on your bucket list. Plus it’s a fairly cheap trip costing only about $55 per person.
Take a Cultural Tour

Maybe swimming with Whale Sharks is too much for you. And maybe you enjoy the cultural immersion side of travel. If so this is a great option for you. You will spend the day learning about the culture of Swaziland, visit the Montenga Waterfall, and witness a traditional dance performance. To top it off you will also get a tour of a traditional Siswati village and a lesson about their culture. This is a day trip, and is quite a bit more expensive than swimming with Whale Sharks coming in at $245 per person. https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g293819-d17808982-Eswatini_Swaziland_Cultural_1_day_Tour-Maputo_Maputo_Province.html#REVIEWS
Visit Kruger National Park

Our last suggestion for today is a Safari through Kruger National Park. A list of things to do here is incomplete without a Safari recommendation. Just like the other countries in this region, you will be able to see the Big 5. They go so far as to say that it is guaranteed you will see them. That might not sound super impressive, but I can say from personal experience on other Safari trips that seeing all of the big 5 is incredibly rare. Because of that reason alone, this is the trip you should book. This trip lasts over 11 hours and costs $250 per person. https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g293819-d24974201-Kruger_National_Park_Full_Day_Tour-Maputo_Maputo_Province.html
