Welcome to Finland!

Welcome to Finland! The Alaska of Europe. I’m kidding, nobody actually calls it that. But they should because I think it’s better than their actual nickname, ‘The Land of a Thousand Lakes.’

Anyway, with that out of the way I will tell you what to expect this week on, The Travelers Guide.

First I will tell you about their history, where you will learn about Aimo Allan Koivunen, a man famous for doing a lot of Crystal Meth during World War 2. The less interesting adventures of the Vikings, and finally the Finnish Declaration of Independence.

After a quick and broad history lesson I will highlight some of the adventures you can do in this country, depending on the season. Like for example in the winter you can view The Northern Lights and go Dog sledding. And in the summer you can ride a bike, go bear and wolverine watching, and be kept awake by the sun that refuses to set. But there is good news, Finland is home to one of Europe’s largest waterparks.

Then I will tell you about the dangers and negative side. Which to warn you, Finland doesn’t have a lot of dangers, it’s a very safe and peaceful country. So this one will be pretty short.

And finally, we will finish off the week by discussing the travel costs, and what the accommodations are like.
