Welcome to Zimbabwe

Welcome to the latest installment of The Travelers Guide. This week we are back in Africa to talk about the beautiful country of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe is a landlocked nation near Africa’s southern tip. With many national parks and lush vegetation it is one of the last countries where you can see the African Big 5 in the wild. Some of the more common animals to see are Elephants and Buffalo, so if you’re an animal lover this is the place for you. If you are not an animal lover though, this country still has plenty to offer. From simple sightseeing to white water rafting there is something for everyone, but more on that later this week.
For today, I’m going to keep this short and give you an idea of what to expect. Tomorrow we will talk about Zimbabwe’s history, like their ties to the British, despite not wanting to be tied to the British. Then will come the ‘Things to do,’ section where I will tell you about the Devil’s Pool, and how you can go surfing on the Zambezi River. After that will be when I tell you about the dangerous side of Zimbabwe, this country isn’t like Finland, there are actual dangers. Then as usual we will finish by talking about the travel costs.
In Conclusion.
