Zimbabwe: What To Do.

Welcome back! Today I’m going to give you an idea of a few things Zimbabwe has to offer. Whether that is going on a Safari, or getting a little bit too close to a waterfall, there is something for everyone. I will warn you though, this place will serve you better if you have an adventurous soul and are willing to get a little crazy. So without further ado, let’s get into it.
Going on a Safari

One of the last remaining homes of the African Big Five, Zimbabwe is one of the last places in the world where you can see Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, and Buffalo. Because of that, there are hundreds of different Safari tours to choose from. Some will be cheaper than others. There are also some hotels that let you stay pretty close to the action. Just be warned, you will pay a pretty penny for those.
Visit Victoria Falls.

One of the largest waterfalls in the world, this place is a natural wonder. Every second 300,000 gallons of water pass over the falls every second. To put that in perspective, that’s like throwing 300,000 gallons of water off of a cliff every second. But this isn’t something you have to just sit and look at. No Victoria Falls has a very unique feature called the Devil’s Pool.

Open between mid-August and mid-January. There is a pool of water that forms right at the edge of the falls thanks to a rock lip and a change in the water levels. Because of this combination, the water will push you right up to the edge, but can’t push you over it. If you’re traveling with your family go here if you want to give your mom a heart attack.
And maybe that’s too extreme for you. Don’t worry, they also offer Bungee Jumping!

That’s right you don’t just have to sit at the top of the falls. You can head right over to the Victoria Falls bridge and take the fall yourself. Don’t worry I’m sure it’s safe. And I’m also sure that isn’t duct tape you see on the bottom of that platform.
Go River Surfing

Thanks to Victoria Falls, these waters are crocodile-free and are semi-safe to surf on. I say semi-safe because injuries can still happen, you just won’t have to worry about being eaten. And as a bonus, the currents of the river also make it a pretty great surf spot that will really challenge you.
